Eleven years ago Good Luck Cellars began its journey forward growing great grapes and making award winning wines by recycling an old sand and gravel operation into an environmentally sensitive site. Choosing the right grape varieties we have prospered! GLC controlled the erosion, created settling ponds, built a true subterranean wine cellar, geothermally powered, and thus reaped the rewards: numberous awards for both white and red wines including the Govenor's Cup of Virginia, the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Franicsco International and Virginia Wine Lovers Magazine golds and platinum.
Come celebrate with us this weekend July 22 through 24 as we mark five years since opening as a commercial winery. All sales this weekend (except wine tastings alone) will take an additional 5% (including non wine purchases) in addition to the summer wine specials and bulk purchase prices already offered.
