Yorktown Wine Festival (Event Off Site)

Good Luck Cellars is, once again, participating in the annual Yorktown Wine Festival.

You shouldn’t miss this grand tasting event. Not only will you sample some of Virginia’s finest vino, but they’ll take your palate on a trip around the world! Yorktown shares more than just history with our sister cities Zweibrücken and Port-Vendres. In a nod to both countries, you can sample Rieslings and Gewürztraminers from Germany and indulge bubbly from France—the only place where true champagne is created!

The event will have live music, great food from local restaurants, and the work of talented artisans. There will also be a Craft Beer Garden (limited samplings of local craft brews or purchase a glass of your favorite will be available).

Rain or Shine event (rain date is Sunday, October 6).

Admission $30 in advance and $35 at the door.

PAINT FOR PAWS (Painting-Class Fundraiser)

Please join us at Good Luck Cellars for a painting-class fundraising event.

A FEW SEATS REMAIN OPEN.

Cost is $42 per person ($10 of your cost will be donated to the Friends of Northumberland County Animal Shelter where many of GLC's rescue dogs came from.)

We’ll be painting a white heron wading in water. Your 16” x 20” canvas, art supplies, and instruction will be provided by artist Cathy Wilson of My Time Arts in Warsaw, VA.

A light snack will be provided; you can purchase wine or water/sodas from the tasting room; and there will be items auctioned to benefit the animal shelter.

To purchase your ticket, contact Monique via email with number of tickets needed and your contact info, so payment can be arranged. Space is limited. Tickets are non-refundable but transferrable.

Every Sunday during the summer, we’re offering sangria (by the glass) while supplies last.

Equally exciting is that each week, the recipe will feature a different GLC wine, and we’ll offer the recipe to visitors.
